The food here is phenomenal! My husband and I split the "Pick 4" combo with the chicken quarter, pulled pork, baby back ribs, beef brisket, baked beans, coleslaw, and a corn muffin. It was easily some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had—perfectly smoked, sweet, and savory. Everything was on point! For appetizers, we highly recommend the cheese curds and the sweet peach BBQ wings. Our server, Trina, was the absolute sweetest and took great care of us—definitely ask for her when you go. Side note for first-timers: you get a free bottle of sauce of your choice to take home! 👏👌

Tried Sonny’s BBQ in Nicholasville, KY for the first time and it did not disappoint. We started with the Sweet Peach BBQ wings — the sauce is seriously good. Also grabbed the cheese curds, and the seasoning on those is next level. For the main, we went with the Pick 4 combo and everything came out spot on — great flavor, cooked right, no shortcuts. Nice bonus: first-timers get a free bottle of their BBQ sauce, which is a solid touch. If you’re in the area and want real BBQ done right, this place is worth the stop.

We had a small hiccup with our large family feast order that may have been a little over loved with warmth. When I came back to see if it could be fixed, Frank handled everything with absolute care. He was incredibly kind, truly understands what great service and genuine hospitality look like, and is exactly the kind of person who makes you want to return. I picked up some pulled pork from this amazing place today. My pork was tender and moist. My pickup was prompt and the staff was very helpful and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. I will definitely be back and will spread the word about my great experience. Tina definitely has this place in tip top shape. Thank you Tina for my amazing bbq for dinner tonight.
