Absolutely the BEST cannoli in Boston - yes, even better than Mike’s. We ordered two topped with pistachio, one with chocolate and the other with cream filling. Both were incredible! Pipped fresh, the crust was super crunchy and the filling was just the right sweetness. Plus, we lucked out and got a table! The owner is super friendly and this place is worth the visit. The only downside is that they work with cash only, so bring some bills! I’ll be back for more.

Nice Italian bakery in Boston with good quality desserts and hot drinks. The tiramisu was decent, and the cannoli was also very good. The variety of options is a bit limited, but the quality makes up for it. Totally recommended if you are looking for a cozy Italian-style bakery experience. i have tried mikes and modern pastry AND I MUST SAY — and this is a very, very hard decision — BUT I THINK I LIKE MODERN PASTRY BETTER??? i only tried two things at modern pastry (compared to a bunch of items at mikes), but they were both amazing. the cannoli was pretty near perfect — the filling was sweet, creamy, light, and bursting out of the cold crunchy chocolate shell. the pistachio crumbles gave it a nutty, buttery accent and it was just so wonderful. the powdered sugar was also a nice touch, and it’s a pretty good size as well !! such a nice little treat 🙂🙂 the lobster tail was als

Stopped in at Modern Pastry on Hanover and picked up cannoli to take away. They were excellent, filled freshly to order, the shells staying super crisp and packed with smooth ricotta.
