I seriously enjoy this place, as a returning customer, though I hadn't gone in at least a year unfortunately. Any who... hubbie and I met for the lunch specials the other day. We both started off with a Painkiller drink, which was beyond delicious! I had the fish & chips lunch special, and hubs got a cheese burger with fries AND a pot pie. Everything was super yummy and service was excellent! (Here in Burque, the lunch specials are Monday through Friday from 11am-2pm and only like 10 bucks each BTW). Our server was great as well; he was super attentive, on top of everything, and just a little cutie patootie all the way around!

The food was not great for the price - definitely mediocre. I would recommend skipping this place. Sadly, what was equally as bad was the service. While she was somewhat nice, we felt completely forgotten about the entire time. Took about 10 minutes just to get water, another 15 or more minutes for the waitress to come back to ask if we wanted appetizers, all while waiting for our cocktails still. Our waitress just kept disappearing for long stretches at a time, so we maybe saw her about 4 times over the span of 2 hours even though we needed stuff to eat and refills.. No one took dirty/empty glasses or plates from the table so we just sat there with them the whole time, which sucks. She finally showed back up again to bring us boxes and give us the bill. They also stuck us at a table with zero room for any of us and it's just too loud in there to be comfortable when trying to talk to family. The steak tips was a bowl with a mountain of mashed potatoes, and I kid you not, about 5 pieces

We waited 35 minutes for a table. As soon as we got to the table, we ordered an appetizer and our food. We got the cheese curds, which was gross tbh. When we got our food, the steak was RAW! I ordered it cooked medium. The pasta was also stale, and the green beans were nasty. We called our server and showed her, she said it was the 3rd time it happened that day. She took the steak and said they would remake it. We called her over and told her to take it off. She then said “I wish you would’ve told me before I sent it back” in a very passive aggressive way. And she then claimed she wanted to give it to her dog. After that, we asked for boxed and the check. They didn’t take it off, only gave a $10 and $3 discount. The steak was 14.99 and we showed her. She said “do you really want me to go back for ONE dollar?” And we were stern and said yes. Still left her a 7 dollar tip. Worst experience ever

We came here October 12th for lunch. It started off very very bad but eventually skyrocketed to a great experience. Upon arrival, the place was only about half full. The hostess walked us all over, past countless empty tables and sat us way in the back of the restaurant. The booth she sat us in, the seat was slashed wide open and the area smelled like someone urinated all over. With the numerous empty booths we walked by, why were we seated at a badly damaged booth that also smelled like urine?!?! After a few minutes of being disgusted, I walked back up to the hostess, explained the nasty issues and asked to be seated anywhere else. She walked back there with me to have us seated elsewhere, but by then the waitress, Dee B, sat us at another table. The hostess apologized and said the manager knew about the damaged seat and had another one on order. Still, why wasn't that table ropped off? Nobody should have been seated there. The food was amazing as always.. We went for my mom's birthday.. There was alot of us. . Our server was great until the comment she made after some of us left. . We split the bill and some left before others,we left a $20 Tip on a $90 bill for our portion, my mom stayed behind and the waitress made a comment we didnt tip or didnt tip good! No matter if we left anything or not you dont make comments like that. Everyone left a good tip on there bill but you dont make comments to customers especially the same party on a tip!!! Probably will not be back.

I ordered the Half rack rib/chicken tender meal, I upgraded to the cheese n bacon fries with the loaded baked potatoe. The servers are kind and fast. I was really disappointed with the food, my ribs came out cold and really dry and tough to eat, the chicken tenders had to be re-ordered because the ones on my plate came not warm or room temp they were freezing to the touch. I came to “Cheddars Scratch Kitchen” for a nice meal but everything here seemed to be warmed up from a box. I feel sick after trying to eat the food served from here.
