Support a local business If you like hot sauce, there are plenty to sample in the restaurant. Stop at the bakery after your meal for authentic bagels, pastries, cookies, and deli staples. I picked up a raspberry Hamantaschen for dessert: a triangle shaped butter cookie filled with a raspberry jam. I was with a gluten-free diner who was happy to see a gluten-free menu that was notably larger than most other restaurants. We had some trays delivered for a family event this week. Gotta say, everything was exceptionally well done. Sometimes, from experience, corned beef or roast beef can be hit-or-miss. This time, everything was top-notch, from the meats, the salads, and the fabulous bagels and breads. The amount was very plentiful, too. Ordering was easy and delivery was on time. Much appreciated!

This is definitely the best jewish deli in chicago bar none. The replacement soup is truly incredible. I love this place.You used to live in chicago now.I live two hours away.I still make the drive just to eat here.It's fantastic closest thing to new york or los angeles.It's a wonderful wonderful restaurant! Decent and polite service. Prices were insane for what it was though. Asked for eggs "over medium" because I was worried my normal "over easy" request would end with uncooked egg white. Asking for "over medium" got me some very obviously cooked-longer-than over-hard eggs. People make mistakes, I get it, but own it and take a bit longer to deliver what's ordered instead of passing off trash as edible. Kitchen should have had enough pride to trash those eggs. Waitress should have had enough pride to reject those eggs. They were visibly past over-hard. For two people we spent 45 bucks before tip
