We’re in town for a family function and found a local coffee joint across the street from the giant coffee chain everyone knows. We always pick local when available. They’re quite lovely and treated us well. The coffee is tasty and the pastry is too. Highly recommend coming if you’re in the area. My only question is why they won’t take cash for our purchase BUT they’re happy to have the cash for tips. Kinda strange but that’s prob the old man in me.

We ordered two lattes, a Borealis, and an Adagio beverage. All the drinks were perfectly crafted and delicious. The staff were welcoming, prompt, and polite. They have a good variety of baked goods that looked very tempting. Large space with comfy chairs and tables, and clean bathrooms. When I'm in the area, this is always my first choice. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

All right, everybody stop stargazing and check out this little oasis spot in Elmhurst. I sort of found it by accident. We were just looking for a spot off of 290 to connect a ride. But we pulled into the parking lot and I saw this on the corner of a row of shops. Stopped in and had a fantastic cup of coffee while I waited. Clean bathroom is friendly staff I even took a bag of fresh dark roast home with me. I’ll definitely be back here more intentionally in the future.
