Lo que dice la gente
“Good Salvadorian food. In general the items we ordered were all delicious. The portion sizes is also good. The outside seating is well heated and doesn't feel cold. Tres leches is very good. The flan has a punch but good.”
“Nice new restaurant serving Salvadorian fare. It was my first time eating Salvadorian food, and the dishes were unique and well presented. The service was terrific and the ambience made for a lovely date night.”
“Mixed. Tldr: Not recommended. Appetizers and drinks were great. Entrees were disappointing. $50 Lamb in particular was fatty and over-blackened (outside was inedible). We will not return.”

Pupul Mayank★★★★★We went there on a weekday to celebrate my birthday and what a birthday it was. We loved everything we were served, so flavorful. The server and the manager, both were very graceful. They also suggested how we eat every item for the best taste. They had a seafood chowmein special that night and it was so good. We had a foodgasm after that. We couldn't finish and took it to-go but the next day it tasted even better as our server told. The drink wasn't to my taste but I was told already that it is pineapple and sweeter, I wanted to try so no points cut there. I have never had Salvadoran food bef
Olivia★★★★★Went for a birthday. The food was amazing. Ate family style so we could try a bit of everything. There wasn’t one thing I wouldn’t get again. Standouts were the pupusas and pollo en chica. The quesadilla dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. Our waiter was also great and very knowledgeable about the menu. Will be back again!
Alpana Aras-King★★★★★We went to Popoca for my birthday. As a photographer and visual branding expert, I’m very visual and was excited to try something new—Salvadorian cuisine. It did not disappoint. I definitely eat with my eyes first, and the food looked beautiful. The ambiance was wonderful, and the staff was super friendly. I originally planned to try their fixed-price dinner, but after spending way too much time on Yelp trying to decide, I realized it didn't include what I was craving. I'm glad we ended up ordering à la carte. Here's what we had: * Pupusas (mushroom + beef tongue) * Pollo Campero (fried chic
Epiphany Love★★★★★As a Salvadorean trying Popoca for the first time, I was genuinely impressed. The food was delicious and deeply satisfying, with flavors that stayed true to all the traditional Salvadorean tastes I grew up with. Each plate was beautifully presented with thoughtful, eye catching combinations that complemented the dishes perfectly. I loved the variety of textures and colors... blue pupusas?! Yes, PLEASE! The pupusas were perfectly thick, toasty, with cheese melted just right for a flavorful, smooth & cheesy bite. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere warm and welco
