We went to try this new mexican restaurant on a Saturday night around 8:30 pm. It was a hit! They had this dancing robot walking around, a mechanical bull outside, a beautiful patio area set up, and fun music playing. I’m not sure if it’s something they do all the time or what but we had a blast! Then the food was good too! We ordered guacamole and they came and made it table side for you. It was fresh and delicious. I ordered the burrito special for the night, and it was delicious. I probably wouldn’t get the steak again, but that’s personal preference. Absolutely great! Walked in and the decorative Mexican art is beautiful. We were seated right away and served delicious chips with salsa. Within minutes a young lady came to our table and made some amazing guacamole for us. We ate all the chips - they had to bring us another serving😋 Our server was so sweet - they wear a flower crown, like Frida Kahlo's - and she let us take a photo with her🙏 We ordered Carne Asada and Birria tacos, and the biggest Burrito I've seen in a long time! Everything was yummy, but the Birria tacos were amazing! This was a wonderful late lunch - GRACIAS!♥️

We had a great experience at Frida's Tacos & Tequila! We ordered a little bit of everything, including the beef and chicken empanadas, steak fajitas, La Torta del Chavo, a whole fried red snapper with plantains, and a flight of blueberry, guava, and tamarind flavors. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The red snapper was perfectly crispy, the steak fajitas were tender and well-seasoned, and the empanadas were delicious. Five Star Rarings for Food, Service, and Atmosphere. A friend of mine suggested I try this place for Cinco de Mayo. I ordered the Shrimp Street Tacos with Black Beans & Mexican Rice. Portions are large and plenty, the chips and salsa tasted freshly made. I received excellent customer service. They also have a sister restaurant in Dunnellon across from the Post Office. I loved the decor and beautiful art pictures. I highly recommend this business.
