Came to celebrate my 40th birthday with some close friends and family. Everything about this location is spot on. The views and atmosphere here are unmatched, with plenty of heaters, sun, shade and fresh ocean air. Truly has something for everyone. They play vibing music in the background that doesn't overpower conversation. Their signiture drinks are smooth, refreshing and graciously poured. They also have a wine list that should not be overlooked. Medium to small plates makes for a wonderful dining experience with the people or person you are with. It is quite cramped up there…we paid to reserve a pool cabana and it was nice but there wasn’t much room to sit and relax for more than 6 people. The service was nice but it was super slow. The prices are pricy but you know what you’re paying for with a view from up there. I’d recommend just to go once and experience it! The view is gorgeous!

Beautiful ocean view and huge potential, but consistently terrible service and poor execution. We stayed at the hotel and planned to come here often during our staycation. That plan ended quickly. Day 1: Cocktails were genuinely bad. Beer was fine. Sandwich was decent. We were quietly watching the sunset, snacking, drinking in silence. We stopped in on a Tuesday evening as visitors from the Midwest and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The view of the Oceanside Pier is stunning, and the staff couldn't have been more warm and welcoming. We did several small plates — the white bean hummus was superb, the cheese monger board was lovely, the chilled sea bass came with delicious homemade-style chips, and the warm baklava bread pudding for dessert was a perfect ending.
