I was in the area and decided to get Black Bear Diner as a treat since it’s been years since I’ve had it. I ordered my food online, picked it up, and drove over an hour home. The cornbread muffins are my favorite, so I got an extra. When I got home, there was only one. I doubled checked the website. Turns out the main website specifies that the little less dinners do not come with cornbread, but the website you order from makes it sound like it does. Easy mistake. But I was more upset to find that the cornbread muffin had been smashed into a small container, and the lid didn’t even fully close

We love Black bear diner! Every location we've been to hage all been amazing. Friendly and attentive staff, upbeat environment, clean and of course wonderful food! We haven't eaten dessert in years! Today we ordered the berry cobbler and it was delicious!

Cassandra was great! She made us feel at home and served us better than any waiter in my life (Bold statement I know) but she definitely earned it! She is a hard worker and still takes time for the details. “The Grizz” was as good as ever and elevated by a special huckleberry lemonade. It is special workers like Cassandra that this world needs! Amazing job! Would recommend anyone to come down and have a special experience thanks to Cassandra!

We have come here on Monday 2 weeks in a row for breakfast. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. We had the same server on both our visits. Our server, Cassandra was the best! Very nice and attentive. She made sure that we were taken care of and had a very positive and pleasant attitude. Very nice and mellow atmosphere and we enjoyed our experience very much.
