This is a great spot! Outdoor seating on a nice day is a must. Right by the lake, you can do a nice walk first, then have a wonderful lunch alfresco. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and looked beautiful. There were 4 of us so we did tapas style - hummus, muscles, grilled octopus (ask if you don’t see it on menu), and sockeye salmon salad. Highly recommend all. Service was attentive and friendly. A must visit in Olympia! Would love to try it for dinner, too!

Octapas Café was an outstanding dining experience and one of those places where every dish seemed to hit the mark. We started with the patatas bravas, gambas pil pil (butter garlic shrimp), oysters (both raw and cooked), and a hummus platter, and everything was excellent. The true standout, however, was the smoked salmon Alfredo—an absolutely incredible dish and one of the best pastas I’ve had in a long time. I truly love this place. Staff are very nice, it has both indoor and outdoor seating and is right across from Capitol Lake. I have eaten here multiple times. On this occasion I had the BLT and some maybe the purple sparking lemonade. Would highly recommend the following- BLT (lunch), Dijon brussels *drooling* (dinner), Classic breakfast with the Brussels hash (brunch), carrot cake *singing Ahhhhmazzzing* (dessert). Would not urge you to get the following due to a general lack of flavor- Fish and chips, cubano, burger, nor the wings but just because they were a little weird. The decor is grea

Our new favorite brunch spot! Fantastic flavors, fresh and well seasoned dishes. The crab cakes Benedict was excellent, and some of the best brussel sprouts I’ve ever had. And the beignets were dreamy - so good!!! 🥰
