We stopped at Whataburger, 2501 Gateway Drive, Opelika, AL on June 10, 2026 at 12:30 a.m. as there was no other restaurants open at that time. We had just enjoyed the Road to 16 World Cup Exhibition Match - and decided to get dinner for our family. Our experience at this location was below a zero. Yes, I know the restaurant and drive-thru were both packed; however, that is no excuse for the service we, along with many others received. The location had someone outside taking orders so we were able to place our order but then we were stuck in the drive-thru due to the "locked in" design. We sat

I love how nice the workers are at this location. Especially Carla G, the register attendant, she’s so kind & has outstanding patience when ordering. Has helpful suggestions and is a sweetheart to the kids. It’s a clean restaurant and even when lively pleasant place to sit & eat.

Placed mobile order at 1:29am and sat behind 3 cars for 25 min until I received my food at 1:54am. Food was cold and was given wrong size drink and fries. Workers were talking very loud to car in front and after I got to the window I noticed 3-4 workers standing around talking to each other. 1 employee standing there holding a bag in his hand waving it while talking. I do not recommend unless you have no other option. Price is not worth it until they change employees

Food was wonderful. They were having a bad day in the kitchen (Mother's Day). They got my order wrong twice, the third time was a charm. My wife finished her food by the time they brought my very simply prepared hamburger out. The word P L A I N means absolutely nothing on it....
