Stumbled upon Sprout Cafe as we were looking to have brunch in Palo Alto. What a great place. Roberto seated us and helped us pick the right choices. The service is superb, food excellent. Made to look great- not only tasty. Eggs were done perfectly, bacon perfect. Good amount of avocado- not just a slice or two. Matcha and earl grey teas. Will definitely come back.

Located on University Ave just two doors from the popular (and often a line) Sweet Maple , and arguably serving a better variety of menu items for both breakfast and lunch, the delightful Sprout Cafe provides excellent and attentive service. I loved my Chelsea Benedict with avocado and mushrooms, and my partner enjoyed his stack of buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh berries. We shared their signature cardamom coffee bun (like a pull apart or monkey bread) just to try it... Delicious! Been to this Cafe multiple times and will definitely return. The food is very delicious here, portions are generous and everything is nicely presented. They have several vegan options and special menu during the weekend. Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms, indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff is very friendly.

Grabbed the Rancher steak sandwich for lunch and it was really tasty! The bread was perfectly fresh, and the meat was incredibly tender. The sauce blended everything together beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and highly recommend checking this place out:)
