A quieter sit down or grab and go option inside of the Mandalay Bay Casino. We stopped in for dinner the first night of a work trip and were surprised by the portion size and variety of options. Our server was very attentive quickly, refilling our drinks before even having to ask. We also stopped in for a grab and go breakfast options before heading into the conference center attached to the casino. Well priced and fresh.

⚠️⚠️ DISGUSTING HYGIENE BREACH – SEVERE SANITATION FAILURE ⚠️⚠️ I am absolutely outraged and disgusted by my experience at Citizens Kitchen & Bar. As a loyal MGM Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy member staying at the Mandalay Bay, I expect high standards, but what I found was a severe lack of basic hygiene that is inexcusable in any restaurant, let alone a luxury resort. Having dinner upon opening a Caesar Salad, I was horrified to find a massive, long black hair embedded in the food, spanning almost the entire width of the container. It was utterly repulsive. This is my go-to each time I am in town and at Mandalay Bay. Always enjoy the Cobb salad. This last visit I walked in around 5:15 on a Tuesday and was seated immediately. I had two different servers from the bar waiting on me and they were amazing. Decided to indulge in the spinach dip and it came out still sizzling. The hosting staff could be a bit more proactive with seeking anybody needing help other than those standing directly in front of them. Overall, happy that this place has withstood.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Citizen Las Vegas in Mandalay Bay. The host at the entrance was extremely rude and unwelcoming, which created a negative impression from the moment we arrived. The prices are quite high, but unfortunately the food quality does not justify the cost. The dishes were below expectations and lacked the quality you would expect from a restaurant in this location. Overall, the service and food were both disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant and would not return.
