Ever since I moved to the city, I’ve been searching for food that truly tastes like home. Not the standard butter chicken that is everywhere, but the kind of meal that actually satisfies that deep craving for home cooked Indian food. I’m so happy to say that my search ended with Pangat. Their thalis could not feel more authentic. Pangat is truly a beautiful celebration of authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. If you are craving for that delicious vada pav, zanzaneet misal pav, succulent semolina crusted fishy fry and flavor bursting delicacies look no further. The food was fingerlicking tasty, service was excellent and ambience was homely. They also do a supper club/shared eating (called Pangat in Marathi) for lunches(prior early reservations required), we would definitely want to try it out next. Overall a great experience and definitely worth the travel to Park Slope.

Top notch brunch experience at Pangat! Everything was perfect, the food, the vibe, the ambiance, the family style setup. You get to meet new people as you enjoy the delicious but fiery kolhapuri thali! Must recommend!!!
