Wonderful hole-in-the-walk spot for a delicious and hearty Ethiopian breakfast! This cozy little cafe doesn’t look like much from the outside or even when you first walk into the cramped cashier/kitchen area lined with menus and photos of the food, but the food is outstanding. I got the vegetarian ful, which comes with scrambled eggs, injera, salad, and beautifully spiced fava beans. The eggs are perfectly soft scrambled, which contrasts wonderfully against the slightly firm and chewy beans, and the salad offers a nice refreshing bite. This is the real deal. I love you Ethiopian food and this one did not disappoint. The staff was super nice and friendly and they cooked the food with love! Please be patient because you want fresh hot food. It takes for a few minutes sometimes but it’s totally worth it.authentic Ethiopian and RN Washington DC national Mall area it’s only about 15 minute drive from the Capitol.
