Hole in the wall, but don’t overlook it like I did. I have been living around the corner for years, drove by countless times and always thought it was just another dive bar. Then I started hearing rumors that they serve the best Portuguese food around. Tonight I finally verified that. 1) Service - mediocre, not very friendly staff. 2) Food - decent , but I wouldn’t go out my way to go again. Maybe if I was back in the area or no other option. Apps were on the smaller side, but prepared and made in-house. Desserts didn’t have many options, but stayed true to the authenticity of the type restaurant. 3) Atmosphere - very small. Really enjoyed the food here. The clams were very fresh would highly recommend it. The octopus app was also well done. The tuna was cooked perfectly and also extremely fresh. I got the seafood stew, it had great flavor but the ingredients were mostly long frozen ingredients and you could taste it. Still the broth had a great depth of flavor.
