We attended Godfrey's for Valentines Day. They were extremely busy. After arriving we were put on a 25-30 min wait list. The hostess called our name and told us our table was ready but took us to the bar top. My husband asked what happened to a table and the response was they were told not to seat any more tables. We didn't get upset and decided to take the bar seats. After sitting there for 10 minutes no one said anything to us. Plus the waitresses were putting used glasses on the bar in front of us. My husband finally gets the bar tender attention and asked if we could get some service. The

We went as a party of 10 food was fantastic for what “they had” no oxtails, no cabbage, no pork chops ready, no beef ribs the food took well over an hour coming out and 3 people do not get food until the rest were packing to go plates. On top of that THE SERVERS WERE SO RUDE!!! I do recommend the food but pick your times wisely.

The food was okay. I think its overpriced and the waitress kept our change when 18%gratuity is already added to our billed. We had to go look for her when we realize did not come back to our table. When she introduced herself she seem agitated, no smile or anything. The food looked good when it was brought out but it didn't taste like what we paid for. 1st time going and wont be back. Looks can be deceiving

Food was nasty. Fish undercooked, cold okra and the Mac and cheese was running from me . I will never eat here again. My pic looks good but it was totally opposite
