Excellent portions, good price, excellent tasting food, I’ve had the hibachi steak and chicken and both are delicious. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. It’s a shame that a place like Ichiban exists when this much better tasting and much more reasonably priced gem of a restaurant exists

This was an amazing experience. It was our first time eating here and the food was great! Having it prepared right in front of you was a treat! The cook was nice and talked with us while preparing our food. The owner was super sweet. We tried to get her to open one up in Magee, MS. But, she said to far away! Oh well, that just means we will definitely be coming back here whenever we are up this way!

Food lacked seasoning. Service was good but the chef said nothing the entire time he cooked. Found out later he was the owner. I brought my leftovers home and once I seasoned the meat and vegetables it was good.

Walked in a 630. Place was empty. Should have warned me. Ordered beef tataki, tasted like they dipped it in charcoal soaked in lighter fluid. Ordered what appears to be a “salmon roll”. Rice was hot and picture is obvious on fish quality. Ordered the filet med rare. Anyone with basic knowledge of meat know that’s not filet. It was also cooked over well done. Salad isn’t even a typical Japanese dressing. Some weird creamy stuff. The lady working told me straight up she orders low grade meat and I don’t know how to taste my food. Then tried to charge for the whole meal that I didn’t touch. See t
