The barista is chipper and genuinely upbeat. She seems to truly enjoy her job. I noticed she made an effort to engage in light conversation with each patron. The coffee is competitively well priced. $6 for a medium latta. I ordered the Tilly, it was advertised as coconut and vanilla flavors. Unfortunately, i failed to taste any hints of coconut in it & it was a very tawny brown. I'm use to drinking espressos so I felt like this was more of a iced milk with a splash of coffee for color. We visited this café because we were looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a coffee while having a playdate with my daughter, and I really enjoyed the experience. At the time we went, the kids’ area wasn’t crowded, so we were able to go into the playroom, relax with our coffee, have a conversation, and let the kids play freely. It created a perfect balance between quality time for both parents and children. I would definitely come back!

Hands down the best coffee shop in South Houston. Great menu. Great staff. I came in today and Isaac made me an espresso tonic water flavored drink that was amazing and this drink should definitely be on the menu! Great menu, but this would make a great addition for people that are lactose intolerant and is a healthier option I’d appreciate.

Continuing my explore through Friendswood and Pearland, I come across a coffee shop called First Cup. It was very much off my radar because my default was another well established coffee roaster in Pearland. But these guys are roasters too. And the coffee is good. A lot of times I have joked in the past that the better the graphics of the coffee bags and the T-shirts , more “iffy” the coffee may be.
