I recently hosted my child’s birthday party at Spare Time Pflugerville for the second year in a row, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. They truly make planning and hosting a kids’ birthday party stress-free from start to finish. Our party host, Journee, was exceptional. She kept the kids engaged and entertained, ensured they washed their hands after bowling and before eating, and kept everything running smoothly and on schedule. Spare Time was a decent neighborhood bowling alley, but we had a bad experience this time that put us off coming back. As a caution, they randomly turn the lights off with no prior announcement - one of our guests ended up slipping and tweaking her knee because they turned them off mid-throw, and she lost balance. The three adjacent lanes were livid because they, like us, couldn’t bowl in this lighting setup. The balls aren’t glow-in-the-dark, and the front of the lanes aren’t lit well (another obviously dangerous condition because it’s slippery). Look, we’ve all bowled in dark lanes before

Our first time there, clearly two clueless older folks out with the grandchild. Staff was plentiful and helpful, and got us squared away quickly. The food was surprisingly good and the restrooms were clean. Great place to hide from the heat with the young 'uns.

Our party host, Jade, went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of and having a great time. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, patient, and truly made the party special for my son and our guests. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving families a great experience.
