I visited Ramen Kagawa in downtown Phoenix with my best friend, and overall it was a great experience. I ordered the vegetarian ramen and was honestly very impressed, the broth was rich, flavorful, and satisfying, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. It’s not always easy to find a vegetarian ramen that feels this well thought-out, so that definitely stood out to me. The only downside is that there are limited vegetarian options, especially when it comes to protein. I would love to see them expand that part of the menu in the future. Love everything about this restaurant! Walking in you can feel the warm welcoming atmosphere. Miwa (lady at the front) was so kind and patient with me. She gave me excellent recommendations. My order was ready in less than 5min. As soon as I received the food I can smell how delicious it was. Ate at home and omg it was amazing. I’ll definitely be a regular and will bring friends!!!

If you are japanese do not go here, you'll cry. If you are not japaense, please do not equate this place to authentic Japanese food. I tried both the bone broth based ramen and the creamy sesame. They had horrible after tastes and featured huge globs of pork fat with just a couple pieces of actual pork meat. My mother and I barely were able to eat more than a few bites. The place nails the dirty ramen shop vibe which is kind of cool but it falls apart when the food is no good. Maybe it tastes okay if you're 5 cans deep into Sapporo.
