I stopped here on the way to NYC and it was so delightful. The atmosphere was very cute and we got to chat with the owner who clearly had a lot of love for his shop. They sliced the meat for you for each sandwhich and you could tell it was good quality. I would recommend asking for extra meat though, because they didn’t add quite enough meat to either of the sandwhiches we got. Overall, 100% recommend!!!

stopped up in North Jersey on a work trip. had the half Super Sub. was very very good, and the bread was excellent. owners are kind and professional. love the old school atmosphere. 12 dollars for a filling sub and a bag of chips, can't go wrong with that price. would visit again

If you want a great, "old school" alternative to Tastees, this is the spot! I don't think they've changed the menu board since the 80s, maybe earlier. Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. Friendly service and vintage interior decor make this sandwich shop a great stop along Woodbridge Avenue. Pictured is the tuna with pickles on the side.

Super friendly when we walked in. We had a large order, and they got right on it. This has the feel of an old school deli. Our sandwiches were amazing. I will be going back!!! Update 3/10/23: Due to work, I have made multiple trips to Edison, NJ. This was my go-to spot for breakfast and lunch. Everything on the menu is great, and you will not be disappointed. The staff is super friendly, even the other customers were friendly. FYI.. thanks for not letting me forget my morning coffee!!😄
