We tried Delhis Kitchen during our visit to San Diego. We didn’t get to try most of the items, but we did have a chance to eat the samosas and some vegetarian curries. They were good—we liked the samosas. We liked them so much that we went back to get them again, but the second time they weren’t as great. They were oily, and the filling had more potatoes than usual. I’ll still give it another try the next time I visit There is place sit and dine in but it’s more of a Togo place. So definitely don’t expect ambiance

Excellent experience overall. I ordered the 3 item platter which includes rice, naan and yogurt and a samosa on the side. The dishes were all tasty with the right level of spices. The samosa (not pictured) came with 2 chutneys. The portion size was amazing— the box was filled to the brim — good for 2 meals. Service was very good. The lady took care to wrap foil over the box so nothing spilled. It’s a smaller joint so the atmosphere was fine. Outstanding value for money. Definitely recommended.

I've probably been here 15 times over the years, and every single time the food is excellent. This is the best Indian food in San Diego that I've ever had. It's a hole in the wall not a super nice environment necessarily but if you want great Indian food it's a winner!

A solid four stars for this quick-service Indian place. Good points include budget prices and generous servings of food with plenty of protein pieces. Doesn't hit five stars because the food is not the tastiest I've had in San Diego. Fresh and wholesome but bland. Most people get the specials which include main dishes with salad, rice and naan bread. Outdoor seating is available. Decor is tired but you're not coming to a place like this for the decor. I'll probably keep trying new Indian places than return to this one anytime soon.
