We love skippers, wish there was more around, but those employees at this one were awesome, we felt very welcomed there, you can tell they cared about there guest. We came down from West Seattle to have lunch there. The trip was worth it. If you are down in Puyallup make sure you stop here for a meal, it's worth it. Thank you to all the employees there. They are awesome!

If you’re looking for a solid, traditional fish spot, this is it. The cod and fries were delicious and the chowder is easily some of the best we've ever had. Friendly staff, quick service, and I loved the island vibes of the decor. Definitely worth a visit!

This was my first time eating at Skippers and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean and everything was well supplied (napkins, condiments, cups, etc.). The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The food was made fresh and we only had a short wait. The clam chowder was served hot and very tasty, just like the fish. I really liked that the fish was tender, didn't have a strong "fishy" flavor like poor quality fish, and wasn't greasy. Nostalgia lunch today. Just happened to pass through Puyallup about lunch time so I stopped in. As far as I know, there are only two remaining in the Puget Sound area. This and Silverdale. I had a small chowder which was very tasty. The seafood platter was perfect. Small fried shrimp, fried clams, a chunk of Fish (tonight’s dinner) and perfectly done fries. The fish and fries are in the air fryer in hopes I can crisp them back up. I’d go there more often but it is a 45 minute drive for me.
