I’d like to be as constructive as possible so that management and owner can improve upon what I’ve experienced. Ambiance and setting of the place is great, it’s a classic diner feel. I see there has been issue in the past with service but that was not my experience. The young gentleman and lady greeted me promptly and got my order in quick. Although, there was no one in there so I’d hope that be the case. Unfortunately where this “diner” fell short was its food. I could’ve stayed home to make what they brought out. I ordered a breakfast staple, the omelet. What was clearly frozen ingredients

We are still visiting NC this week, so the Kiddo and I had brunch at Mecca and let me tell you, it was delicious. I got the breakfast burger and my daughter had a Breakfast plate with NC country ham (her first time). The service was excellent and the food was out of this world. I will add, whatever you do to your fries, wow 🤤

The food was great! Got a veggie omelet that was hearty and the vegetables tasted so fresh, with the right amount of crunch. Fluffy eggs and yummy hash browns! Great service and friendly staff/chefs! 10/10 recommends, for good food and Old Raleigh diner vibes!
