If you’re going to go, book a private event. I’ve been to cat cafes in the past and this is not that. This is the type of cafe that gives the others a bad name and makes me question the ethics of places like this. This is a small room with cats that are overwhelmed and visibly anxious. In total there were 6 people and 6 cats in a room. It felt incredibly cramped and awkward. 4 seats were available with no where to put your drink down. Loved pur cup café! Came here three times before officially adopting my cat Lilly (aka Hazel)! Staff was extremely sweet and helpful when getting my cat. Visit before looking for adoptions were always fun even when the cats were napping. Definitely a place to check out, be sure to make reservations.

Purr Cup Café in downtown Raleigh is absolutely adorable! It’s such a cute café with a wonderful selection of drinks that are very affordable. The best part is getting to spend time with the sweetest little kitties—it’s such a fun and heartwarming experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it’s definitely better to make a reservation ahead of time since it fills up quickly.
