By all appearances, Trendy’s looks like a great spot for breakfast — and to be fair, we’ll probably give it a try before leaving town. The place has a nice vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and delightful. That said, I have to be honest about our lunch experience. I ordered their “famous Bomb Burger,” and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the reputation. The bread was soggy to the point where it couldn’t even be picked up, which really took away from the meal. The highlight of lunch, surprisingly, was the fries — crisp, hot, and delicious. Had the BEST Monte Cristo I have EVER had! We're in Redding for the weekend and turned to reviews to find a breakfast spot--so glad it led us to Trendy's! The reviews were spot on because Trendy's did NOT disappoint. I love a good Monte Cristo and have tried a lot of them, but this one is hands-down the best I've ever had. The ham and turkey tasted like something straight out of grandma's kitchen on a special holiday, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bread-to-meat-to-cheese ratio was absolute perfection. Absolutely incredible!!! Food, service, atmosphere, perfection!! 🤌 The Huevos Con Chiles was AAAAHMAZING!! French toast was soooo good! The Corned Beef Hash was meaty excellence with minimal potatoes. Orange juice was delish!! Ger there early, they were busy but fast service!

What a great spot! Every meal was portioned nicely and served pretty .The staff was friendly .Kids meals hit all the notes for our three ages 7-11.. chocolate chip pancakes and fruit cups. The bomb burger, special pancakes, and classic all surpassed expectations. Quality meat and so very fresh. Also, the parking lot is large for our toy hauler to pull into. Just go….support this little great food spot you won’t regret it.
