Really good food, properly cooked and wonderful service. Erica took our order and bought it over, she was SO friendly. We loved everything from the shrimp burrito and chimichangas. The horchata and Tamarindo juices were out of this world. This could be my new spot.

Mexican Latin Food in Forest Hills. Home made food cooked fresh daily. Amazing tacos, roasted chicken and pork is my favorite. You can beat price for their specials. For $24 I got good size container of roasted pork, yellow rice, small beans you can get choice of salad or fried plantains and large soda. That’s pretty good deal for so much food. Staff was so friendly and very accommodating. Forest Hills is not knowing for Mexican food but this spot is one of my favorite.

My husband and I walked by El Rey Latino many times and we didn’t pay attention to them due to their humble exterior. Their reviews on yelp are also not outstanding but they are one of the most popular restaurants on seamless for delivery. It’s Cinco de Mayo today so we decided to have Mexican food for dinner. We ordered Bistec Huarache ($10.45), Carne Enchilada Quesadilla ($9.1), Calamari Fritos ($9.9) and 3 Leches Cake ($4.7). We scheduled to have delivery at 6:00pm and they were really on time. Decent place for tasty food. Note that they are very popular during lunch time, so wait time for deliveries and take out may be longer since they're slammed during those hours. Diner time is usually calmer, with the kitchen staff attending you fairly quickly.
