If you are looking for good BBQ, AVOID this place and go anywhere else. I ordered takeout from Willard’s and they messed up my order. I ordered the Big Pig Tray that comes with pulled pork topped with smoked pork belly & cracklin', cole slaw, pickles, & Mumbo bbq sauce. Instead I received the Big Pig Sandwich. Aside from messing up a simple order, the bread was soggy, there was no BBQ sauce on the pulled pork, the cole slaw didn’t taste gross and the macaroni salad was soupy. Complete waste of money! I will never order here again.

I stopped in because I was hungry and looking for some good food, after doing some errands in Reston. I ordered a brisket platter and then decided to order their triple threat chili and while I was waiting I thought well. I should try the Cajun rubbed smoked meatloaf too (I said I was hungry but wasn't planning to eat everything at once). This is not what I expected. This was so watery. The sauce lacked flavor and again each bite was just filled with water. The cornbread was bland and dry. The green beans tasted like canned and the mac & cheese was just ok, definitely needed seasoning. Overall disappointing. The folks inside were kind though!

This place has been around for quite awhile and they used to be much better than they are now. Their meat used to be flavorful and smokey. Lately, it tastes bland with no smokiness..I lived in Texas for a few years and if a restaurant tried to serve such bland tasteless brisket as this, they'd be run out of the state. Willards has good sides and their pulled pork is ...okay, but their brisket and ribs are now awful and taste like they were made in an oven and never came close to any smoke. By comparison, Mission BBQ has better quality and better tasting meats, but their sides aren't as good or
