Tastetea Vietnamese Cafe in Old Richmond is an absolute hidden gem! This was our second time visiting for lunch, and once again, they blew us away. The customer service is incredible—everyone is so welcoming and attentive. The food is authentic and delicious, with every dish packed with flavor. Upon realising our original destination was closed last night, my family and I stopped by here and it was one of the most worthwhile experiences we have had. This especially goes to the lady serving our food (which in itself was amazing; we loved the pho, banh mi and fries), she gave us some Dr. Pepper cans and was incredibly sweet towards my sister. I hope to stop by here so much more, and would recommend everyone in the area to come and enjoy this restaurant as much as we have (we were the only people eating there). Amazing food at a great price. I enjoy Pho bowls, and the milk teas, but I always go for my favorite! the fish, shrimp and fries. The service is amazing, and the environment is relaxing. I highly recommend Tastea if you want a savory bite.

The lady who took our order was very sweet and informative. She took care of us quickly and started preparing our tea right away. The lychee tea with less ice and 50% sweetness was so good and 100% recommended. Edit: We got the bacon fries and they were delicious do not expect some grand taste from this place though. The food is average in taste, the drinks are good (if you get regular sweetness it's very sweet, I recommend 50% or even 0%), service was delightful, the shop was clean and well kept. Would go there again just for boba and dumplings.
