Got in from out of town and took the inlaws out to eat and they suggested Basil Cafe. Nice medium size restaurant parking lot was a pain to find a open spot. The service was nice and we got our table pretty quick but it was table was super tight when once we got our food order coming in. Everything we order turnout great. Only thing we didn't like or care for was the Tom Yum soup, it has a very bitter after taste to it that was not enjoyable. But everything else was pretty good. Went to Thai Basil Cafe this morning and had a mixed experience. The service wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t particularly welcoming either. I’ve ate a lot of what I’d call mediocre Thai food…this place is Excellent on taste. They do not skimp on the meat or flavor. Price is reasonable, and the best thing was this chicken soup they give you that tastes like what my mom used to make for us growing up. It’s the BEST Thai food I’ve had so far in MN. Plus they have a delicious free drink station for their dine in customers. We got the curry eggrolls, fried pork belly (comes with a delicious sauce!), and pad see ew noodles…extremely Delicious!! I would get all 3 again!

Everything was just simply delicious! I had the khao mun gai (chicken rice) and my husband had the khao moo krob (crispy pork rice). We also ordered chicken eggrolls, chicken curry rolls, strawberry-lychee and strawberry peach fruit soda refresher (fizzy). Definitely will recommend and definitely returning.
