The Chocolate Cafe was an unplanned stop for us in Gaslamp since we were craving something sweet and chocolatey. Any cafe with crepes is exciting, and we decided to get the strawberry nutella crepe! We waited for a reasonable time and the staff brings the crepe to you, which was helpful! It’s a good crepe, not too soft and full of Nutella and strawberries, so it satisfies the typical craving. The only downside was the bathroom: one of our friends came back with an unsatisfactory opinion, and wished it was a bit cleaner. It’s a good quick stop!

Small restaurant that’s not the most inviting. So glad we came in anyways because the breakfast was very good. We had ham, egg, and cheese crepe, a croissant, some fruit and some Americano coffees. Everything was so good. Will definitely return!

I asked the man at the counter for an egg and cheese croissant. He gave me one with ham in it. I asked if I could get a new one without because I do not eat pork. He told me I told him I wanted an egg ham and cheese croissant but its okay hell make it again. Why would I tell him I want pork in it when I dont eat it? I in fact did not tell him that. And he went on to go back in forth with me that I did in fact tell him that. It wasnt a necessary interaction. Just say youll remake it. Its not even necessary for an apology because mistakes happen. Overall: 8/10 The price was reasonable. I ordered the large size with 3 flavors — they gave a generous amount of ice cream. However, the restroom was not available, even for customers who made a purchase.
