I had a wonderful dinner at Lila restaurant in Sarasota and everything exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Burmese Noodle Bowl and the pasta with bison meatballs—both dishes were incredibly flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. This is not an all vegan restaurant in spite of Google’s description of it as such. It is a vegan “forward” restaurant so that it has a lot of vegan dishes and some animal dishes. It is a bit amusing because it’s like when a vegan is looking for a place to take meat-eaters to so that they have a few options except their options are more varied than a vegan would find at a traditional restaurant where they have one or two vegan options, so it’s finally our turn! The vegan sushi is very nice. It is an expensive place though so be prepared. 🤑
