Char Steakhouse in Scotch Plains, NJ was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The calamari could not have been more perfect. It was tender, flavorful, fresh, and delicious, served with a spicy aioli and marinara sauce that complemented it perfectly. The pine nut salad with mixed field greens was also incredible. Fantastic experience at this placed! The food was amazing, the steaks were cooked perfectly, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. I also wanted to give a special shout-out to the crispy pork belly (chicharron). I didn't see many photos of it here, so I'm adding one because it was absolutely delicious. Crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. We'll definitely be coming back!
