Great little Italian spot! My dish was the shrimp and scallop Antoinette and it was so delicious. My mother inlaw loved her eggplant parmigiana. I had a bite of my grand mother’s chicken parm and it was really good. Other dishes we had was the chicken Marsala, short rib pasta very tasty and the veal parm. Definitely go for the Caesar salad! Oh and the amazing garlic bread they start you off with, make sure you save some to dunk in yours pasta sauce! To die for! I’ll definitely be back for my pasta dish! No sand in the scallops and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. We had a large party of 15

6 PM dinner reservations tonight with my buddy Brian at Uncle Sal’s Italian Restaurant in Scottsdale. This particular restaurant has always been one of Brian’s favorites which is also very close to where he lives. After having dinner there, with him this evening I can see why Brian likes this place so much. It’s safe to say I was extremely impressed as well. I love how they continuously deliver fresh hot Italian bread, which is full of flavor. Their chicken Parmesan was also outstanding. Even their lemonade truly tasted like lemonade. This a great Italian restaurant with many classic dishes to choose from. I eat gluten-free and they offer gluten-free pasta. Many of their sauces are gluten-free. I had the shrimp and scallop Antoniette. Very tasty. The house salad is very good too. They do not offer any gluten-free desserts, so I didn't try any.

We recently visited and the experience was disappointing overall. From the moment we arrived, the welcome felt unfriendly and a bit uncomfortable. The portions are large, but the food is very heavy and greasy, without really standing out in flavor. The atmosphere feels quite outdated and may not appeal to everyone. The only highlight was the dessert, which was genuinely good. Overall, it’s not a place I would return to.
