The steamed pork buns were really disappointing — they had a strong smell and tasted overly salty and sweet at the same time. Definitely would not order those again. The rest of the food was okay overall, just pretty average.

This casual dim sum spot has a clean, no frills interior. (Basically my dream apartment if it was full of dim sum.) Besides siu mai and har gow, you'll find chow mein and congee on the menu. Hot sauce or soy sauce costs extra, so let the cashier know before you pay. For best results, arrive early before things sell out. Most folks get their orders to go. Want to sit? you know what this is. the food is great, but the service could be better. fair prices. delicious dim sum, buns, and desserts. my only complaint is they charge for soy sauce and oil - and it tastes a bit too watered down and it’s really tiny. but anyway, it’s a staple and i love it for what it is.

I truly enjoy the variety available at a good Dim Sum restaurant. Dim Sum King provides a delightful experience. When you walk in you pick up an "order form" that lists all the offerings AND the per piece price. You hand the form to the lady behind the counter. She fills the order immediately. Although not on the order form, remember to ask for Soy Sauce based Dipping Sauce and hot peppers and oil, they are $0.25 each.
