Rob Roy was a nice cocktail bar experience on a beautiful Friday night. The space inside was well decorated although my chair at the bar was pretty uncomfortable honestly and they're probably due to be replaced. The menu was fairly varied and I really liked seeing the full ABV listed even for cocktails. The drinks we tried during our visit were decent but overly sweet to my taste. Service throughout was phenomenal though - fast and helpful.

I am someone who enjoys experiences, and Rob Roy does just that. Their staff is attentive and caring about the products they serve, not just another gig at the bar. Yes it costs more - but what you get is also a consistent and dedicated group of professionals who share a unique passion to share experiences. This night was part of a collection of events happening around Seattle for Seattle Cocktail week. The theme (Lagoon after Dark) matched the energy perfectly. Rob Roy has nice holiday decorations and a cozy vibe, but unfortunately the drinks were not good. The flavors were off and hard to enjoy, especially for the price. We only ordered 2 drinks and were still disappointed. They also automatically added gratuity to the bill, which didn’t feel right given the drink quality. Probably wouldn’t come back for cocktails.

This place was actually recommended to me by one of the regulars at Rider, so of course I had to see what the hype was about! We came here right after our nice dinner at Musang, and the place was already packed when we arrived. You can definitely feel that lively Belltown energy the moment you walk in with dim lighting, chill music, and that cool, slightly hipster lounge vibe that fits perfectly in the neighborhood. The entire staff was already in full Halloween mode, and the bar was decked out with festive decorations everywhere even the drinks were themed! Lol. It was definitely a fun surpr
