In a town where Brunch is as much of an institution as motorcade traffic jams, the Brunch at the Boundary Stone is one of the best. The corned beef hash is on my top 10 list. This NOT your flakey chipped beef kind of hash. We're talking big chunks of corned beef brisket diced with onions and potatoes. The funny thing is that the corned beef hash wasn't even the star of the show. The Honey Hot Chicky Benny was everything that makes DC cuisine special. Right down to the perfectly poached eggs. Really great sports bar, even better if you're a Philly Sports fan! Some of the best food I've ever had in a sports bar. Cheesteak: absolutely delicious! Slighty more food than your average burger but a lot smaller than I expected a cheesteak to be. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Habanero chicken sandwich: perfectly cooked chicken sandwich. So my friend found this place on Instagram and she booked a reservation. Thank goodness because they had a line at opening. We were seated quickly host was so sweet. We ordered and food started flowing however mines came out 30minutes before my friends. Food: Chicken &French Toast: Chicken breast was over fried and dry French toast good. Cinnamon bun : Good Fries: Good Friends order: Steak and eggs with a side of bacon. The steak was good potato’s were good eggs good. She said worth the wait. The brunch drinks here might be the best deal going anywhere near downtown. When we went it was $2.99 mimosas, $3.99 bloodies, and $4.99 espresso martinis (which it appeared were NOT batch made). The food was also great. Service was also friendly and fun and we had no wait to be seated. Only negative mark was for the seats, which are mostly fairly hard/small bottomed stools which get fairly uncomfortable after sometime, especially if you are a larger person.
