We stopped at Neal’s for breakfast on our way to Tulsa yesterday after learning about it from a friend. Pancakes, to me, are a good indication of how I’m going to like a restaurant in general and Neal’s pancakes were not a disappointment. They were soooo yummy. I had them with over easy eggs, sausage, and coffee. Perfect breakfast. The hubs ordered the meat lovers omelet and hash browns which he said was really good. Food was very good, almost couldn't eat it all. Server was amazing. Very nice and attentative. I actually really liked the decor and atmosphere of the place, but it felt uneven. Like half was themed and the other half felt a bit empty. But all in all good experience.

Coming from Kansas city where I can't get good fried okra or chicken fried steak, this place is fantastic. Great gravy, top tier fried okra, and excellent chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes like grandma's (the grandma that knew how to cook not the one that only served tv dinners!). Cannot recommend this place enough. Not for the snobby eater.

I love to go to places that are locally owned. And Neal's Cafe has been in Springdale since 1944! Our waitress told us the restaurant is now ran by the 3rd generation family, wow! Inside the restaurant is retro and so fun to look around see what is there. The food and service are excellent! They make a lot of things homemade daily including their pies! You cant miss the bright pink building of Neal's Cafe! 🩷
