What a great vibe here! Made me say, “maybe Springfield is more progressive than I thought”🩵 Staff are super friendly and will chat it up if you are so inclined. Cherry Brûlée latte is yum! Daily batch coffee, also good. I did give one less star because husband ordered a large which (come to find out) is only 12oz. We’re city folk, “large” usually means 16-20oz😬 We were only here a few minutes but will come back when we’re in Springfield. Heard they have an interesting summer drink with espresso, ginger beer and tonic… seems interesting

If you ever find yourself in downtown Springfield, do yourself a favor and stop into The Coffee Ethic. This quaint little spot overlooking the historic square is everything you want in a local coffee shop and more. At The Coffee Ethic, we arrived with purpose, having come specifically because it stands as one of the markers along the Springfield Coffee Trail—a designation that invites both expectation and charity in equal measure. This is going to be my go-to coffee shop when I am in Springfield. I ordered the Ethiopian pour over which was really good and the Citrus & Fig Aerocano from the fall menu which was one of the best specialty drinks I've had in a long time. It was super velvety and such a great pairing of flavors! There is plenty of space and the baristas are kind and knowledgeable. I didn't try any of the food but it all looks great!
