I used to love their food and service as of yesterday. Today I’m DONE eating there. The service was really bad. I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches with sausage and got this. When I called to ask what happened the person decided to argue with me telling me what I ordered. I told them that in the notes can explain what I ordered but the person was combative and didn’t want to listen. Told them that I have a picture in my phone of what I ordered, and the person didn’t want to hear that. I’m not going to argue with a stranger so I hung up. But they just lost a costumer and all my friends that I sent

Good food for a fair price, large portions. Staff seemed a bit rude, though. A male staff member was loudly complaining about one table to another. There was an old guest who seemed to be lost and instead of quietly asking him to leave, the male staff member loudly across the restaurant asked the other server if the guy was homeless, "He has been here all day", he then loudly across the room shouted at the man that it wasn't his living room and he can't stay here all day. Beantown food is decent and fairly priced. Service is a bit slow, and the food takes a while to come out—but the taste is pretty good, so it’s worth the wait. That said, 3 out of 5 times they burn the bread, and the home fries are always burned—overcooked and dried out. If they’re leftovers from earlier breakfast, it’d be better to just make a fresh batch. The only other option is the baked beans, but they’re too sweet, tastes like they put a full spoon of sugar in there, so never again since the 1st time. I will still wait for the day we get golden-crispy home fries…
