Delicious food and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable too. I spent the past 4 days staying around the corner at the Grand Beach in Surfside and I ate breakfast at Cafe Vert every day despite the many options. The wait staff were really nice and helpful and the owner is very friendly. The food was consistently delicious and well priced. I look forward to going back.

Despite the food being very good, the service was extremely poor. We had to ask several times to take our order or inquire about where our food was. It bordered on racism for non-Jews. We waited 45 mins to get very simple breakfast items, and the restaurant was not packed at all. There were empty tables when I arrived. I will say that it is a very early place as it gets packed well before 9:00am on a Sunday, by 10:00am the place was virtually empty. I would order to go from this place but would not dine in again.

The food is absolutely delicious, the pastries are out of this world, and the coffee frappe is the perfect finishing touch. Every bite feels fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Warm atmosphere, great service, and treats that keep you coming back for more. A true gem in Surfside!
