Visited Bowden’s for the first time a few weeks ago and enjoyed our experience. Service was friendly and helpful. We tried the pretzels and they were delicious. We also tried the burgers (I’m sorry can’t remember which ones we ordered) but they were flavorful. The restaurant was clean and I’m sure during football season this place stays packed.

The food was okay, Nachos i was not a fan of at all. Sandwich was decent. Service wasn't bad but wad thin for some reason not much staff. When we were helped she was sweet and attentive. Id definitely come back and have another meal.

Firstly, I love the concept. My family drove down from West Virginia for my graduation. We settled on Bowden's for a quick meal before the ceremony. Unfortunately it was anything but. I usually wouldn't nitpick the details but: Shrimp appetizer was way overcooked and you only get 5. Some items never made it to the table (but they made it on the check). Service was incredibly slow. Pours were far from generous. The check was originally incorrect by about $100 We weren't even presented with a check before the card reader was brought to us. I visited Bowdens the last Friday of the summer semester. I was able to find paid street parking not far from the entrance. i was seated immediately. I love the indoor outdoor vibe of the place. I’m not sure what the crowds look like here on game days. I can see coming back and lounging with drinks. I expected typical sports bar food but the food was a little more elevated. The rice and chicken dish I ordered was actually seasoned well and the pretzel dough was such a soft delicious texture. Not dry or tough at all. It’s probably THE best pretzel I’ve tasted.
