Chanta is truly a hidden gem. It has a warm, family-oriented atmosphere with casual dining vibes, but don’t let that fool you—the food is absolutely high-end. Every dish is prepared with incredible care and delivers exquisite flavor that rivals upscale restaurants. The staff is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the entire experience even better. It’s the perfect place whether you’re dining with family or just looking for amazing food in a relaxed setting. We were not disappointed and will absolutely keep coming back.

Dinner felt like dining in traditional family dining room - though pretty noisy and a bit hard to hear each other. Service was relaxed but took some time, especially with clearing plates and water refills. The Goulash was a typical beef stew and a smaller portion than expected (we tried to share). The Chicken Shnitzel was breaded nicely and probably my second favorite. The real standout was the Octopus appetizer and the presentation was outstanding!

O my goodness! My wife and I miss Chicago food. We are food snobs like you would not believe. I decided to give this a try for date night and so happy I did! We ordered the cheese bread with a chili oil and you just KNOW that bread was made fresh. The dough was thin and had a nice crunch and it was super flavorful. The oil had a nice small kick to it if you’re needing a spice to pair it with! I ordered Saccotimi Vanessa and the sauce NEEDS to be bottled up and sold! Mouthwatering! Literally I took my first bite and my mouth watered. My wife ordered the Wellington and it’s MASSIVE! Big enoug

The food here was exceptional—this marked only my second visit, yet it reaffirmed why I returned. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, rich in flavor, and beautifully executed. My waiter was attentive without being intrusive, checking in every 15 to 25 minutes to ensure everything was impeccable. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager and the chefs, whose warmth and genuine hospitality were evident throughout the evening. There was a palpable sense of care in every detail, from the service to the presentation. I felt truly welcomed and valued. I will certainly be returning. Love Monty
