We were on our e-bikes, RVing from 🇨🇦, so wanted to check out Texas City. We found Wrice BBQ, loved the "garage converted to an eatery", sat outside, chatted with the owner. Got the history of the town, enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. Would highly recommend if you want a relaxed, outdoor meal. Washroom was super clean.

We really wanted some Barbecue & it being New Year’s Eve everybody was sold out, but Wrice in TC. So we tried it & wish we didn’t… Shorted us the brisket & sausage was so thinly sliced. Dirty rice was very nasty & beans had some kind of stringy meat in it. We will NOT be going back to this place on 6th street Texas City, Texas

1st time going to this place, 2PM on a Sunday. The man behind the counter was courteous and helpful suggesting a meal. He let me know they're open till 5pm on Sundays. I went with the rib and brisket combo with Mac n cheese, potato salad for the sides and a can of soda. It also comes with BBQ sauce, a small side of pickles and 2 slices of bread. RIBS = AMAZING! 👏🙌🙏. Moist and tender with the perfect amount of smoke and spice. Everything was good. Brisket was a little dry but tasted great. Mac was creamy and seasoned well.
