Ill start with the atmosphere so, you Will understand why I gave it only 3 stars. The establishment aesthetic reflects an older aesthetic. HOWEVER, the service is A1. The gentleman who was our host/server was kind, polite and very professional. He respected all the customers the same and kept everyone happy. Sahara Cafe is one of those hidden gems on the Westbank that you almost don’t want to tell people about—but it’s too good not to share. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Their hummus is easily some of the best around, super smooth and packed with flavor, and the chicken shawarma and gyro combo plate is always a go-to. This was my first time at Sahara Cafe. Looking for great Lebanese and Mediterranean food on the Westbank has always been a challenge but I decided to do a bit of hunting and I was not disappointed. I completely and enthusiastically recommend Sahara Cafe 🥰🥰🥰 The food is spectacular and the service is impeccable. Mohammed was our server and I think also is one of the chefs. We r traveling from Houston, TX and were looking for halal options. Found Sahara Cafe on tiktok. There food was fresh and good. But please make sure that restrooms should be clean too. Restroom was extremely dirty , paper towel machine it self was disgusting.
