Cat Henry★★★★★What a find! After going to some local ‘trendier’ spots that have lines going down the block (Duane Street, I mean you) I was thrilled to stumble on Kaffe Åre. Plenty of room, peace and quiet with a moody indie soundtrack (Smiths etc), and killer avocado toast. Plus, the crew from the local fire station came by, so….hot!🔥🧯💪 (LOL thank you, fellas, NYC loves you)

Their coffee has a smooth, mellow richness that pairs beautifully with the calm atmosphere. I tried their flat white and a slice of almond cake both hit the spot. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, perfect for quiet conversations or just being present with a good book. A peaceful little hideout I’ll definitely return to.
