This is the second time I’ve gone to Sonic expecting a simple shake, and once again the experience was disappointing. Either the ice cream machine isn’t working, the shakes come out runny, or items just aren’t available, which defeats the whole purpose of going there. On top of that, the overall condition of the location is poor—the gravel parking area is rough, there’s trash scattered around, and the place doesn’t smell clean or well-maintained. Today, I ordered 3 Burger combos and a couple chili cheese coney dogs using the app. I mistakingly placed the order at the West Main St location instead of the Monte Vista location. For multiple reasons, I stopped going to the West Main location several years ago and was hoping I wouldn't regret my ordering mistake this time. No such luck. The fries, tater tots and even the caramel croissant bites tasted like, and were soaked in rank cooking oil. We tossed them all after a couple of bites. The chili on the coney dogs looked like burnt chili sludge that was scraped from the bottom of the pot. I

Service was incredible, and food was great!!! Thank you to Thong and Cat for making our dinner awesome! We're vegetarian, and they were super helpful with finding items we could eat. They kept checking in to see that we had everything we needed too. Wow. Also we spilled a milkshake on their patio and they were very nice about it, replacing the milkshake for free.

This place is due for some major upgrades and cleaning. Food was old, cold and probably from the previous day. Showed up and not one person ordering. Very dirty and building needs a cleaning bad. This was my first sonic experience and I definitely need to go to a second one for a better opinion
