I visited BakeLab located inside the Yugo apartment lobby and had a really good overall experience. The space is cozy and well set up, with a mix of tables, booths, and additional seating throughout the lobby, plus outdoor seating. It’s a great spot for both relaxing and getting work done—there’s free Wi-Fi, plenty of outlets for charging, and I noticed a lot of people working while I was there. It was fairly calm around 9 AM on a Saturday but started to get busier by around 10:30. It’s also pet-friendly, which was a nice touch—I saw a couple of dogs and it didn’t feel disruptive at all. One of the best bakeries on campus. Now they have “Matcha madness” where you can try some unique matcha combinations. I tired Mango Gone Wild. It tasted delicious, but I wish they have more mango flavor there 🥹

Needed some pastry-fueled energy to complete our roadtrip and BakeLab did not disappoint. Ordered a few danishes, croissants, and cruffins to-go; these were right up there with some of the well-known bakeries I’ve been to around the US and abroad. The indoor/outdoor seating seemed like a nice atmosphere for students to study or remote workers to grab a table. The bakery was clean, and the staff very pleasant. We were able to find a parking spot on the side street, which I am sure becomes more difficult when school is in session. Thank you, BakeLab!

This place is adorable! How did I not find it sooner? Everything was delicious, and the oatmeal cookie latte was just as great as the other reviews I've seen about it. Great place to be with fair prices and friendly service. Will be back, for sure!
