I felt it was forcing the entire NY Carnegie look and lacked any authentic feel. Solid 4 stars across the board. Pro: - booths and seating are extremely comfortable - coffee is strong and good - service is good but not attentive once you've been served - good menu variety - easy parking - they take reservations - hard liquor license Con: - food was average to good. Nothing that would make me return - music was very loud and not very breakfast, way more of a brunch to lunch vibe first thing in the morning. Would have loved a softer music in yhe early morning to something more upbeat at lunch

The ambiance inside is amazing and provides a very live and appealing decor. It fits very nice with the menu. The shrimp was fried but not greasy at all. Great job at frying it. The steak and eggs was excellent cooked exactly as I wanted it (should have gone medium though) and the chicken in the chicken sandwich was one of the juiciest chickens ive tried.

I came to Carnegie diner to have breakfast. I saw the pictures on the website and I wanted to try them out. The restaurant and service did not disappoint. I was welcomed at the door by Santiago very friendly and professional.He made sure I had a good place. My server Allan also took great care in service to make sure I had what I needed. The wait was not long and the food came out fast and hot. My plate was just like the pictures you see online. The ambiance is lovely and the restaurant is clearly popular, with a noticeable wait list, but unfortunately the food and service did not live up to expectations for me. The service was notably slow, and the meal itself was disappointing. The pancakes were underwhelming, and even the hash browns lacked flavor. The avocado toast was not well balanced, as the onion in the avocado mix overwhelmed everything else, while the bread overpowered the remaining flavors.
